A great heavy harness leather rein, 6 1/2 to 7 feet long. These reins are perfect for riding colts in a sidepull or horses in a sliding gag. Also great on German martingales or any rig that you are going to have the horse gathered up. This tight fibered harness leather will take some time to break in, but will last for years of hard use.

Double off latigo is 1 3/4 inches wide x 4 1/2 feet long. It is made just the right thickness to be very strong but not leave a lump under your fender.

Hand-braided 4-plait noseband made of 3/16 inch twisted nylon rope. This hackamore gives the strongest signal of all the hackamores sold at DM Tack and is not recommended for training colts. Available with flat nylon hackamore reins.

This long latigo measures 6 1/2 feet x 1 3/4 inches. Made from firm, tight-fibered burgundy latigo leather that has been edged, hand-rubbed, and waxed. This long latigo is made to go around the cinch and saddle dee twice. These have a great feel and will give years of service.

The carefully crafted buckles are made from round stainless steel rod with washers to hold the tongue straight. These buckles are sized right to prevent galling and pull straight. Cincha will not curl or stretch and will last for years. These come with a nylon web center strap with 1-inch stainless steel dees and a nylon web keeper for the double off tails on the right side. The roper cinchas are wide through the center to spread the pressure from the pull over the belly. Cinchas are available for any sized horse (see drop down for lengths available).

Hackamore noseband is made of single nylon rope. Available in 3/8 inch or 1/4 inch noseband for more feel (see dropdown). Dennis recommends the 3/8 inch hackamore to start your colts in. Hackamore comes with flat nylon reins.

Soft 4-plait noseband made of tan 5/16 inch nylon solid braid rope. The 4 plait has slightly more feel than the 3 plait but is still very soft on the horse’s nose. This hackamore is perfect for loping. Comes with round nylon hackamore reins.

Soft flat 3-plait noseband made of tan 5/16 inch nylon solid braid rope. This is a great hackamore for loping as it lays flat on the nose and is very soft. Available with round nylon hackamore reins.

This X rein is a slightly lighter weight rein than the other harness leather reins sold by Dennis Moreland. This is still a very good firm set of reins just made from a lighter hide than the XX, XXX or XXXX. These reins average 7 to 7 1/2 feet in length and are hand edged, hand rubbed, oiled and hand rubbed again for a great feel before they are shipped to you.
